Aiming for increased transparency and accountability at the local governance level, UDF conducted trainings for 70 local government officials over a six months period in 2007.
Under the Clean Water for Ituha Project, launched in 2006, and 2010 .UDF greatly increased the accessibility of clean drinking water for hundreds of families.
The project empowers mothers and caregivers of orphans to initiate income-generating activities, by providing start-up grants of TSH 500,000 and entrepreneurship workshops.
A  vocational school in the Ituha Village of Tanzania’s Mbeya Region to help uneducated and unemployed young people obtain marketable skills so they can compete in the job market.
