LEON FROM CANADA

From Leon:

I stayed in Tanzania for 3 months in Arusha region. I did help with website design and some project writing and research activities. Herman is a person who is very happy and has a great can-do attitude. Easy to be around and very flexible and attending to workawayers needs and skills.

You will mostly benefit if you have a bit of a pro-active attitude, as sometimes you may find yourself working with minimal or no supervision.

I had good opportunities in terms of stay, activities and work in staying with Herman. And lots of enjoyable conversations. I would definitely recommend a workaway with him!

Herman’s reply to Leon:

Leon helped me a lot to the adoption project in windpower and solar plant project. The project was difficult for me to understand what is really needed but he tried to explain to me and to help me with possible funders.

He helped to design the website. He was very flexible to help two organizations at once and helping in designing new projects and writing reports and also, he gave the nice report to Nuns on how to improve their activities in hosting the tourists and hotel management, and the Nuns has changed everything following the instructions he wrote and they are still changing slowly everything.

He is really good in listening, advising, acting, communicating and learning new languages. He managed even to learn and talk swahili fluently.

I recommend him as person who can work with any kind of people in this world due to is flexibility.
